I wrote this a while back, probably won't ever finish it.
Prologue
Ginny walked quickly into the room were Harry and Ron were cleaning. Though it had been two years since they had finished the cleaning of Grimmauld Place, the house constantly needed to be dusted. Today they were working on the library. The Order still met here, though not as often since they're main goal, destroying the dark lord, had been accomplished. So most of the time, it was mostly just Harry, and she and Ron, came almost every day to keep him company.
She grabbed a duster off the shelf. How she wished she could do magic like Harry and Hermione, she would be able to do it next year though. She began dusting an old bookshelf when a dark black leather bound book caught her eye. She pulled it off the shelf and examined it. Printed on the front, in large gold cursive letters was the name Belatrix Lestrange. She was about to put it back, she wasn't about to get cursed by an old diary again, when Harry and Ron noticed that she was holding it.
“What do you have there Ginny?” Harry asked.
Ginny blushed a little and replied, “oh just a old book I found on the shelf, nothing really.”
“Let me see it,” Harry said. He jogged over to Ginny and grabbed the diary from her.
He opened it up to the first page and read it aloud. “Property of Belatrix Lestrange.” He flipped it to the next page. He sat down. “Let’s read this, it could be interesting, it’s not like we don’t have time,” he said. Ron shrugged his shoulders and walked over, leaning over Harry’s shoulder. Ginny wrinkled her eyebrows but new she could do nothing so sat down at Harry’s side, and listened as Harry began to read.
Chapter 1
September 21
Dear… um… Thing,
What else to call you? Calling you a diary almost seems like something like a little kid would do. So you’re a thing for now. I’m only writing in you to make my mother happy. Why did she go and get me a stupid diary for my eleventh birthday anyway? Why didn’t she just give my kid brother Sirius something like this, he’d love it. The weirdo.
What to say, there is nothing to say. Who am I? I’m Belatrix Black. Member of the pureblood Black family, a long line of Slytherins and Ravenclaws. I don’t know what I’d do if one of my family members got sorted into another house.
One minute, someone’s coming…
Okay I’m back. Can you believe it a mud blood actually thought about talking to me! Here’s what happened:
The girl walked into the my cabin wearing strange muggle clothes. This tipped me off right away that she might be a mudblood. “What do you want?” I snapped coldly.
“I was actually wondering if this cabin was open,” the girl said, rather timidly.
“No, I need to take up a hole cabin,” I snapped at her.
The girl giggled like she thought I was joking, why wouldn’t she just leave? She sat down and whispered a “thanks.”
So now I’m stuck in the same cabin as a mudblood. The stupid prats all should die. I have nothing more to say, I probably won’t write in you again. –

Chapter 2
October 10, First Year
Dear Thing,
So, I’m writing again, Riley keeps bugging me about it. Riley, my older sister, a year older than me. She claims mom will simply be so proud of me. Personally, I don’t give a d**n about what mom thinks, but she’s watching me right now so I have to work.
I decided to start putting the First Year up there, its good to have some sort of date on these things, not matter how much I hate it.
You’ll never believe what happened in Charms class today!
Okay, so, I was sitting in my seat when that mudblood on the bus actually sat next to me. I was disgusted and frantically looked around for another place to sit, but found none. I scooted as far away from her as possible.
She smiled at me and asked to borrow my knife. “No mudblood,” I said coolly.
“What did you call me?” she asked, not mad, but curious.
“A mudblood, freak,” I snapped.
She stared at me. “What an odd nickname,” she mumbled to herself.
Can you believe how stupid she is? My gosh. I hope she doesn’t come up to me when my friends are around, I don’t know what I’d do then. I hate it when Riley’s here, she always ruins everything. How did she get in here anyway, she’s a Ravenclaw. My sister is so strange…
Good, she’s gone, by for now (and hopefully I will never do this again) --

Chapter 3
May 10, First Year
Dear Thing,
I know I said I’d never write in you again, but now I’m doing it of my own free will! My god some strange things have been happening, the first one is strange and terrible. Riley is a death eater. I didn’t even know kids could become death eaters. I mean I adore the Dark Lord, but it’s such a dangerous job.
She’s so mean now. I know she got on my nerves, but she was always my favorite sibling of all of them. Now she doesn’t even like to look at me. It’s like I’m not good enough for her. What have I done wrong?
Second strange thing that happened. A guy asked me out. He’s a third year. His name is Malfoy. Well that’s what everyone calls him; we never call boys by their first name here. Why would he ask me that? I’m only eleven! It seems strange, but anyway, I said no. When I told my friend, Rayne, she’s a third year; she said I’d like boys more when I was her age and puberty started.
I don’t believe her. I don’t think I’ll ever like anyone.
Okay, yesterday, that mudblood came up to me again. She had been continually coming up to me, maybe she might get it that I don’t like here. Anyway she was like, “hi Belatrix.”
How did she know my name?
“Go away mudblood,” I say. I didn’t give her time to say anything I rushed pass her to Herbology. In Herbology, she almost sat next to me but, Ramen (a friend of mine) quickly took the spot she was about to sit in.
God I hate that girl. I wish she’d die. Wait, maybe she could… I’ll get back to you. –

Chapter 4
May 16, First Year
That Malfoy boy came up to me again. And he was surrounded in friends. Apparently there is some dance I don't know about, he said it was 'exclusive'. He asked me. This was like, what it was like, I totally regret this, but I didn't know what was happening, really.
"Hey Bellatrix," Malfoy said coolly.
"Hi. . ." I said.
"Boys," he turned to the small gaggle of people behind him, "can I get some privacy?"
Then a bigger boy smiled. He was handsome, probably in his 4th year. He looked at Malfoy, almost pitifully. I knew his name. . . What was it. Joke? Riddle. Yes, Riddle. "You can say it in front of us," Riddle said, maliciously. I liked this boy, oh yes, I did.
Malfoy blushed. "Well, um, Bella there is this party, it's exclusive, you know, invite only, and I was wondering. . . You wanna go with me."
You'd think if I'd turned him down six days ago, he wouldn't ask again, but he did. "Erm. . . Who's speaking, you or Riddle?"
Gah!!!!!! Why did I say that. You remember Rayne. She said I'd like boys more later. Well I think I have my first crush. He is ahdorable!! But I totally embarassed myself in front of him. Anyway. . .
Riddle chuckled. Then he turned around and walked off. All the boys expect Malfoy followed him. Malfoy looked at me for a moment and then hurried off, blushing ferociously. --
